Mental journey to the future

 If there was a time machine, I would choose to go to the future, to see how life has changed, what I will be working on, if there is still humanity left, I would travel approximately 50 years, I do not know who I would travel with, I imagine I would do it alone, I would visit my house, my friends' house, my old school, I think I would not like to stay there just to take a look, maybe if there is something that I do not like I would try to change it in today's life.

Despite this, I have heard many reflections from different people who say that the future does not exist, but that it is always lived in the present.

Sometimes I imagine a future like the series "the 100"where everyone is in space, fighting for the little oxygen that remains and dreaming of being able to go to earth, because of the excessive consumption that would lead to the destruction of the earth, I think that this ideal of the future is more likely to the one where cars fly and there is a lot of technology, or perhaps one leads to the other ...
