CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Imagen
If I could make a change in my career (Dentistry), I would focus on the following aspects: -Within the subjects that we must study there is a very wide variety but there are some that are not very relevant, compared to others, for example, it would include classes on how to treat other people, especially patients, but also co-workers, bosses, etc., subjects more of personal relationships in physical areas and not so much normative since we have classes on public policies, system operation but what it means to be there or to be part of it is not taught. -Regarding the workload, I have always heard that in this "dentistry" career it is important to be constantly learning new things, that is, updating and studying about it, despite  it is also important to give students spaces so that there is more humanity and companionship and less competition. -With regard to online teaching, I consider that in this career it is very difficult but in the current context it has been done ...

Mental journey to the future

Imagen
If there was a time machine, I would choose to go to the future, to see how life has changed, what I will be working on, if there is still humanity left, I would travel approximately 50 years, I do not know who I would travel with, I imagine I would do it alone, I would visit my house, my friends' house, my old school, I think I would not like to stay there just to take a look, maybe if there is something that I do not like I would try to change it in today's life. Despite this, I have heard many reflections from different people who say that the future does not exist, but that it is always lived in the present. Sometimes I imagine a future like the series "the 100"where everyone is in space, fighting for the little oxygen that remains and dreaming of being able to go to earth, because of the excessive consumption that would lead to the destruction of the earth, I think that this ideal of the future is more likely to the one where cars fly and there is a lot of t...

MY FUTURE JOB

Imagen
Honestly, I have not had a dream job, but I am clear about some things Always first in relation to helping others, therefore I am very interested in the area of health. Currently, I study dentistry, so I imagine creating/recovering beautiful smiles, allowing people to smile freely and without complexes. In general, it is a job that is carried out inside a consultation or clinic. But that does not mean that it can be done in different places and not only in Chile but in the world. I know that in Chile there is a lot of work to be done, but I also hope at some point to be able to fly far to places where there are fewer opportunities, I have always thought that a good place would be maybe Ghana, Africa or Jamaica, there they carry out very varied practices which would be a great contribution and great gain in learning I hope to be able to do it at least a couple of months a year once I finish university :) Despite that, I know that studying a career does not define you, so sometimes I t...

WILD ANIMALS AND PETS

My first pet came home at about 7 years old, his name was Pepe, he was so messy and unruly, he loved to run away from home, which ended his life since one day he left and was run over, I remember crying for many days for him and we agreed with my mother never to have a dog again since his loss had hurt us a lot. About 2 years ago my dad won a puppy in a contest, it was a surprise and as soon as he knew it it was certain that we would give it away until he got home, we started to love him and we could not leave him, his name is Rex and he is a very calm and friendly, he loves to sunbathe and sleep a lot. He loves to be with someone, so every time someone leaves the house, he begins to walk around, for fear of being left alone at home. In the beginning he was lost many times from home, we had to go out to look for him, put up posters until we found him, now he has grown and learned to return home alone when necessary.  Rex is the best gift my dad could give us. <3 I think ...
